The Optimist Club of Anchorage, Alaska, hereby announces the resignation of Mr. Richard Sursa from his esteemed position on the Board of Directors. Mr. Sursa has been a valuable member of our Board, contributing significantly to our mission of bringing out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for his service and dedication to the Club's objectives.
In light of this development, we are actively seeking a dedicated individual to fill the vacant Director seat for the remainder of the term. This is an exciting opportunity for members of our community who are passionate about youth development and community service to take on a leadership role within our esteemed organization.
Eligibility and Application Process:
- Applicants must be registered members of the Optimist Club of Anchorage in good standing.
- Individuals who are not currently members but are willing to join the Club are also encouraged to apply.
- The ideal candidate should be committed to the Club's values and mission, and possess a strong desire to contribute positively to the community.
- The Board must approve the candidate.
